A Funeral Service for George Taylor Camp of Henderson, Arkansas, will be 10:00 am, Wednesday, December 26, 2012, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Brother Hershel Conley officiating. Military Honors will be provided by the Ozark V.F.W. Post #3246 Honor Guard. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 26, 2012 from 9:00 am until 10:00 am, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel. George passed away December 23, 2012, in Gassville, Arkansas at the age of 83. He was born June 20, 1929, in Tupelo, Mississippi, the son of George and Myrtis Sheffield Camp Tolleson. He married Ollie Blasingame, on November 8, 1945, at Marked Tree, Arkansas. George was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars. George lived in Henderson, since 1970, moving from Poplar Bluff, Missouri. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Henderson. He enjoyed fishing. George was a deacon at the church, and was also a Gideon. George is survived by his son, Fred (Emily) Camp of Henderson, AR, daughter, Sandi (Jerry) Webb of Mountain Home, AR, four grandchildren, Heather Camp Pingleton of Mission, KS, Buck Webb of Orlando, FL, Gabe Webb of Kenosha, WI, and Forrest (Mary Beth) Webb of Evanston, IL, three great-grandchildren, Lilian and Brianna Pingleton of Mission, KS, and Kari Webb of Kenosha, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife. Burial will be in the Custer-Herron Cemetery, Henderson, AR, with Fred Camp, Jerry Webb, Buck Webb, Gabe Webb, and Forrest Webb as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Henderson. Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
