George A. Davis

A Visitation for George A. Davis, 80, of Bull Shoals, AR will be from 4-6PM Friday, March 21, 2014 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home in Bull Shoals, AR. A private graveside service for family will be held at Hillside Cemetery in Genoa City, WI. George died Tuesday, March 18, 2014, at his home.

George was born March 24, 1933, in Chicago, Illinois, to Alfred and Viola Archer Davis. He married Virginia Aldridge in Kenosha, Wisconsin on January 11, 1958. George served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He had a long career as a tool & die engineer with AMC/Chrysler. His career took him from Kenosha, Wisconsin to Beijing, China where he served as plant manager of Beijing Jeep Corporation. George served on the Bull Shoals City Council under two mayors. He loved to hunt and fish. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

George is survived by his wife, Virginia Davis of Bull Shoals, AR; three children, Robin Rucker of Fairview, AR; George "Steve" Davis and wife Lynn of Pleasant Prairie, WI; Jennifer Davis of Bull Shoals, AR; Brother, Ronald Davis of Kenosha, WI; and grandchildren, Ridge Rucker, Wyatt Davis and Rachel Davis. His parents preceded him in death.
