George passed away July 12, 2014, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 80. He was born August 3, 1933, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of John and Rose Liska Duresa. He married Janet Lorenz on September 15, 1962 in Chicago, IL and worked as a Quality Control Manager for Essex Electro Engineers. George as a U.S. Air Force veteran and lived in Henderson since 1997, moving from Palatine, IL. He was a member of the Elks, Twin Lakes Golf Course and was a former Henderson Volunteer firefighter. George enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing and spending time with family and friends.
George is survived by his wife; Janet Duresa of Henderson, AR, son; Alex (Judy) Duresa of Mundelein, IL, daughter; Nancy Duresa of Island Lake, IL and grandson; Eric Duresa of Mundelein, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers; John and Emil, 2 sisters; Ann and Olga.
Memorials may be made to Hospice Of The Ozarks, Hospice House.
