George Irving

George Irving, Jr. died Thursday, April 23, 2009 in Flippin at the age of 90. He was born Thursday, December 5, 1918 in Rock Springs, Wyoming, the son of George Ellswood Irving, Sr. and Christine Warner. He married Eleanor Leona Gemborowicz on June 26, 1942 at Biloxi, Mississippi and was a truck driver. George Irving, Jr. was a U.S. Airforce veteran of WWII and Korea. George lived in Flippin since 1988 moving from Sonoma County, California. Survivors: George Irving, Jr. is survived by his daughter, Sharon (Rodger) Wagner of Flippin, AR, Granddaughter, Heather (Chad) Avis of Yellville, AR, 4 other grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Preceded in Death by: He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and 1 daughter. Funeral: Services for George Ellswood Irving, Jr. of Flippin, AR, will be private. Burial: Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery.
