Funeral Services for George ?Djuro? Jasnich will be 11AM Saturday May 7, 2011 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home in Bull Shoals, AR with Reverend Vita Jesse Stevens officiating. Visitation will be from 10AM until time of service. George passed away Monday May 2, 2011 surrounded by his wife, Adrienne, and close, family friends Robert, Suzette, Jeff, Haley, and Vickie.
George was born May 5, 1935 in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada to Matija and Kata Todorovich Jasnich. He married Adrienne Anderson April 4, 1964 in Rolling Meadows, IL. George worked in the cooperage business making steel drums as a plant manager for Grief Brothers Corp. George and Adrienne retired to Bull Shoals, AR in 1995 from Palatine, IL. George was instrumental in starting the Twin Lakes Gun Club?s Sporting Clay Range and a past Vice-President of Eagle Aerie 3183 in Midway, AR. He was an avid fisherman and a true fan of both the Chicago Cubs and ?Da Bears?. George was known for his generosity, his love of family, and his ?Serbian? stubbornness.
George is survived by his wife Adrienne of Bull Shoals, AR; two daughters, Lisa Cullinan (Christopher) of Rolling Meadows, IL and Andrea Flolid (Greg) of Sugar Land, TX; one brother Michael Jasnich and one sister, Branka Boric (Doug) both of Niagara Falls, CAN; and six grandchildren, Steven, Megan, Scott, Ryan, Alayna, and Kyle.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
