He was born April 25, 1911 at Schaumberg, Illinois the son of Frank and matilda Sporleder. He married Leila Heinberg at Roselle, Illinos on May 4, 1940. He was an auto mechanic and had resided in the Mountain Home area since moving from Bolingbrook, Illinois in 1978. He was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and loved golf, outdoors and fixing things. Survivors: He is survived by 1 son Wayne A. Sporleder of Newnan, Georgia; 1 daughter Carol Sue (Greg) Akin of Loveland, Colorado; 2 grandchildren; 2 great granddaughters; 1 brother Herbert Sporleder of Glen Ellyn, Illinois; 1 sister Alice Benson of Elburn, Illinois. Preceded in Death by: He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and 1 sister. Funeral: Funeral service for George Sporleder of Mountain Home will be at 12:00 at Redeemer Lutheran Church on Thursday, May 27, 2004 with Reverend Kenneth Taglauer officiating. Burial: Entombment will be in KirbyÂ?s Tucker Mausoleum. Memorials: Memorials may be made to Bethesda Lutheran Home or Redeemer Lutheran Church.
