George E. Theobald was born October 7, 1920, in Barneveld, Wisconsin. He was the son of Edward and Margretta Williams Theobald. He married Carol McClaren on September 9, 1957, in Rupert, Idaho. He was an Air Force veteran of WWII and an electrician. He lived in Cotter, Arkansas since he moved from Hollandale, Wisconsin in 1980. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, mowing lawns, playing the piano, and was an avid Green Bay Packer fan. He was a member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers for fifty-five years and was of the Methodist faith. George E. Theobald passed away January 6, 2006, at the age of 85 years, 2 months and 29 days. Survivors: His wife of forty-nine years, Carol Theobald of Cotter, Arkansas; two sons, Jerry (Hermi) Theobald of San Jose, California and Ray Theobald of Gassville, Arkansas; three daughters, Roselyn Smith of Chicago, Illinois; Robyn (Bud) Theobald Leininger of Cotter, Arkansas and Bonnie Theobald of Flippin, Arkansas; sister, Marguerite Sevde of Ames, Iowa; nine grandchildren, Jim, Nick, Joshua, Tyler, Tanner, Cathy, Joy, Amelia, and Brooklyn; one niece, Karin; and one nephew, Randy Preceded in Death by: His parents and a son, Tom Theobald Funeral: Graveside services for George E.
