Military Honors for George Urban of Lakeview, AR will be held at 2PM Saturday March 5, 2011 at Kirby & Family Funeral & Cremation Services in Bull Shoals, AR. George passed away at his home March 1, 2011. He was 65.
George was born February 26, 1946 at Plaines, PA to Michael and Lottie Urban. He married Patricia Dakus October 16, 1971 at Gurnee, IL. George was a retired Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force. After retiring to Lakeview, AR in 2006 he became a homebody who loved to watch his sports on TV and was often found attending his flower garden. He was outspoken in his opinions and will be remembered as ?Poppy?, a wonderful husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Urban of the home; daughter Christine Kallenbach (Bryan) of Clovis, NM; brothers, Michael Urban of Kenosha, WI and John Urban (Lucy) of Cotter, AR; sister, Judith Wells (John) of Cotter, AR and grandchildren, Caitlyn Morgan and Mitchell Alan.
