Georgia Beasley

Georgia died Sunday, March 18th, 2007 at Mountain Home at the age of 89. She was born December 10, 1917 at Cherry Valley, Arkansas to George and Mary Ella Beard Halk. She married Howard Beasley on June 13, 1977 at Yazoo City, Mississippi. She was a homemaker and lived in Mountain Home for 33 years, moving from Yazoo City, Mississippi. Georgia enjoyed cooking, crocheting, and traveling. She was a member of the Garden Club in Yazoo City, Mississippi. She was also a member of the First United Methodist Church in Yazoo City. Survivors: her husband, Howard of Mountain Home, daughter, Anne Allen and husband, Jim of Mountain Home, son Barry Talbert and wife Ruth of Batesville, Mississippi, 3 grandchildren, Eden (Dale) Cowart of Mountain Home, Amber (Marcus) Gibbs of Fayetteville, Jackie (Ron) Freidman of Frisco, Texas, 6 great grandchildren, Coleson, Aubrey, Drew, Jack, Josh, Sam and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in Death by: her parents, 1 brother and 3 sisters. Funeral: A Memorial service for Georgia H. Beasley of Mountain Home will be at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 20, 2007 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel with Dale Cowart officiating. Burial: Private Memorials: Charity of choice.
