A Memorial Service for Gerald Frank Condreay of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 11:00 am, Saturday, May 14, 2016, at Good Samaritan Society Chapel, with Bishop Linda Dabney officiating.
Gerald passed away April 12, 2016, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 87. He was born January 11, 1929, in Genoa, Nebraska, the son of Hersie and Ruth Condreay. In 1958 Gerald graduated from the Milwaukee School of Engineering with a BA. He married Marcile Yochum on August 26, 1970, in Polk County, Iowa and worked as an electrical engineer and manager for American Electric Power. Gerald was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War. Gerald and Marcile lived in the area for 20 years, moving from Hilliard, Ohio. He really enjoyed volunteering at the library, fire department and church as well as fishing and working around the yard.
Gerald is survived by his wife, Marcile Condreay of Mountain Home, AR; son, Kim (Marlita) Condreay of McKinney, TX; three daughters, Colleen Lee of Jacksonville, FL, Sheila Barkley of Garland, TX, and Cynthia Condreay of Overland Park, KS; and numerous grand and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Ragene and granddaughter Meghan.
