Gerald E (Jerry) Dwyer, 71, of Mountain Home, died Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House. He was born Tuesday, November 17, 1936 in Harvey, Illinois, the son of John and Theresa (Hann) Dwyer. He married Sharon A. Rosenow in Minneapolis, October 17, 1964. He served in the U.S. Army as a Staff Sargant (Korea) and was proud to be a special agent of the FBI. He moved to Mountain Home in 1991. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, St. Peter the Fisherman Council #7353, member of the Faternal Order of Police, Reserve Deputy Sheriff with Baxter County, and a Hospice of the Ozarks volunteer and a member of the Republican Party. He was an active member of St. Peter the Fisherman Church and formerly St. Paul the Apostile in Joliet, IL. He was proud of his family, his church and his country. Survivors: Gerald Dwyer is survived by his wife, Sharon, 2 daughters, Linda (Bob) M. Charlton of Cedar Rapids, IA and Paula C. Dwyer of Bradley, IL., 3 sons, Michael (Christi) of Chesterfield, VA, Kevin, U.S. Army active duty in Iraq and Dan (Fiancee Hanna Beach) of Nashville, TN, 6 grandchildren, Sean, Matthew and Rachel Dwyer, Melissa, Bobby and Amanda Charlton and his brother, Dick (Ann) of Calamus, Iowa, numerous nieces and nephews and sister-in-law Dolores Dwyer of Hurley, Wisconsin. Preceded in Death by: He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, John. Visitation: Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 P.M., Thursday, March 27 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home with a Vigil Service at 7:00 P.M. Funeral: Funeral Mass for Gerald Edward (Jerry) Dwyer of Mountain Home, AR, will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, March 28, 2008 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, with Rev. James Fanrak, officiating. Burial: Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Mausoleum, Mountain Home, Arkansas.
