Gerald Gilbert

Gerald Gilbert died Tuesday, July 7, 2009 in Bull Shoals at the age of 71. He was born Sunday, October 10, 1937 in Kankakee, Illinois, the son of Louis Ray and Vi Lindemann Gilbert. He married Sandy Eskildsen on July 15, 1971 at Clifton, Illinois and worked as a self-employed maintenance and construction worker. Gerald lived in Bull Shoals since 1986 moving from Clifton, Illinois. He loved the outdoors, flowers, his green house and fishing. He was hardworking and reliable. Survivors: Gerald Gilbert is survived by his mother, Vi Gilbert, IL, 4 sons, Jerry Gilbert of Kankakee, IL, Larry (Paula) Gilbert of Spring, TX, Mike (Gay) Gilbert of Askhum, IL and Scott (Candi) Gilbert of Clifton, IL, 2 step-children, Carrie (William) Marry of Paxton, IL and Jeff Gardner, 2 brothers, Roger (Lillette) Gilbert of Knox, IN and Terry Gilbert of Shebanse, IL, 14 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren. Preceded in Death by: He was preceded in death by his wife, father and daughter. Funeral: Services will be at a later date in Clifton, Illinois.
