He was born March 3, 1944 in Westminster, Colorado, son of Carl and Elva Melton. Living in Salesville since 1978, he once owned Gene?s Trout Dock. Surviving are sons, Thomas and Todd Melton of TN; daughter, Rhonda Simonetti of CO; grandchildren, sisters, Beverly Doyle of CO, Sharon (Lonnie) Carsrud of CO, friends, Mike Harrison and Brenda Hargrave.
