Gerald Pfeiffer

Gerald Pfeiffer died Saturday, February 7, 2009 at Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 88. Gerald Pfeiffer was born Saturday, July 24, 1920 in Pekin, Illinois, the son of Bernard and Carrie Beetschen Pfeiffer. He married Daphne Gulick on December 15, 1973 at Pekin, Illinois and worked as a Grain Elevator Foreman. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII. Gerald lived in Gamaliel for 40 years moving from Manito, Illinois. He was a former member of the Pekin, Illinois American Legion Drill Team. Survivors: Gerald Pfeiffer is survived by his wife, Daphne Pfeiffer, one son, Shawn Patrick Broderick of Overland Park, KS, one daughter, Vicki Meyer of Gamaliel, AR, 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. Preceded in Death by: He was preceded in death by his parents, one son Michael and 5 sisters. Funeral: Funeral Services for Gerald H. Pfeiffer of Gamaliel, Arkansas, will be private. Burial: Burial will be in the Glendale Memorial Gardens, Pekin, IL. Memorials: Memorials may be made to the Hospice of the Ozarks.
