Gerri Deardoff died Tuesday, January 29, 2008 in Mountain Home at the age of 68. Gerri Deardoff was born Monday, June 5,1939 in Rock Island, Illinois, daughter of Locklan and Rose Settle. She married Ronald Deardoff on October 11,1958 at Rock Island, Illinois. She worked as a Secretary/Co-0wner for Midland Marine. Gerri lived in Mountain Home for 46 years moving from Rock Island, Illinois. She was a Sunday School teacher, Girl Scout leader, member of Club Cosmopolitan, Anglin Angels Women's fishing club and Sportman's Club. She enjoyed fishing, camping, boating, cooking, traveling and her family. Survivors: Gerri Deardoff is survived by her husband, Ron Deardoff, 2 daughters, Jodi (Mike) Qualls, Susie Alexander (Ed Siwak), 2 sons, Steve (Jeri) Deardoff, Bryan (Rhonda) Deardoff, 10 grandchildren; Matt, Brad, Amanda, Brandy, Tonya, Kelsie, Jeremy, Cody, Kyle,Bryanna, 8 great grandchildren; Mason, Mariah, Jeremiah, Seaera, Karlee, Alicyn, Elizabeth, and Neveah, 1 brother, Pete (Jan) Settle, 1 sister, Maurene Andrews, 1 sister-in-law, Gloria Settle, 1 Aunt, Elly Settle, several nieces and nephews. Preceded in Death by: She was preceded in death by 1 brother, Barry Settle and her parents. Visitation: Visitation will be from 12:00 - 9:00 P.M., Thursday, January 31 with family receiving friends 6:00 to 9:00 P.M. at Kirby & Family Funeral Home. Funeral: Funeral Services for Geraldine E. "Gerri" Deardoff of Mountain Home, AR, will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, February 1, 2008 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Jim Cox officiating. Burial: Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery. Memorials: Memorials may be made to the Hospice House of the Ozarks, 701 Burnett Drive, Mountain Home, AR 72653, .
