Funeral services for Gertrude Ing, 85, of Oakland, will be 3:00 PM Saturday, April 2, 2011 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Bill DePierro officiating. Visitation is from 1:00 PM until service time.
Gertrude died March 29th at Mountain Home. She was born October 26, 1925 in Phenix City, Alabama, the daughter of Emmett Oliver and Mary Eugenie Jordan Langley. She married Alfred Ing in Houston County, Alabama on November 30, 1945 and was a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking and knitting.
She is survived by 2 sons, Jerald (Robin Johnson) and Alfred (Mary) Ing, both of Oakland, AR; 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 daughter, Julie, 2 sisters and 1 brother.
Memorials may be made to the Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House.
