A Memorial Service for Gladys Geraldine "Jeri" Manuel of Gassville, Arkansas, will be 10:00 am, Friday, October 23, 2015, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Jim Cox officiating.
Jeri passed away October 20, 2015, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 74. She was born April 18, 1941, in Mountain Grove, Missouri, the daughter of Carry and Imogene Parsons Westber. She married Jessie Elbert Manuel on May 19, 1962, at Golcondo, Illinois and worked as a nurse. Jeri lived in Gassville since 1971, moving from Springfield, Missouri. She was a member of the River of Life Church and enjoyed sewing, crafts, upholstery, canning, gardening, reading, and spending time with her family and Rowdy, her dog.
Jeri is survived by her son, Carry Allen (Kimberly) Manuel of Mountain Home, AR; five daughters, Janice Elaine Wyatt of Mountain Home, AR, Jeanne Elizabeth (David) Sutterfield of Mountain Home, AR, Jacklin Elieen(Robert) Griffin of Mountain Home, AR, Jessie Evelyn (Nathan) Tumbleson of Gassville, AR and Janette Evon Manuel of Yellville, AR; two sisters, Ida Stout and Beverly Rader; 20 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; step-daughter, Jennifer Manuel and two grandchildren, Becky and Jasmine.
Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas.
