Services for Glenn R. Bergum of Lakeview, Arkansas, will be private with Scattering in Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery.
Glenn passed away December 19, 2017, in Bull Shoals, Arkansas at the age of 80. He was born September 22, 1937, in Chicago, the son of Glenn C. and Mary Merkel Bergum. He married Judy Smith on September 12, 1959 in Glen Ellyn, IL. Glenn was a member of the United States Army Reserves and worked as an installer for Illinois Bell Telephone Co. for over 35 years.
Glenn is survived by his wife Judy Bergum; son, Glenn E. (Lori) Bergum and daughter, Deb Bergum all of Lakeview, AR; daughter, Sondra (Andrew) Szczepaniak and granddaughter, Samantha Szczepaniak of Gilbert, AZ.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Russell A. Bergum and daughter, Glenna Sue Bergum.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Grover Township Fire Protection District in Lakeview, AR.
Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services-Bull Shoals.
