A Gathering of Family and Friends for Glen Alvin Drake of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be from 5:00 until 8:00 pm, Friday, February 9, 2018, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home. A Private Family Graveside will be held at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas.
Glen passed away February 5, 2018, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 70. He was born March 20, 1947, in Hayden, Colorado, the son of Lawrence and Edith Olsen Drake. He married Pamela Huntington on June 29, 1968, in Denver, Colorado. Glen and Pam moved to Mountain Home in 1970. For the last 29 years, he owned and operated Smitty's Septic Service. He was a member of the Elk's Lodge #1714. He enjoyed hunting, farming, raising horses and cattle, and team roping.
Glen is survived by his wife, Pamela Drake of Mountain Home, AR; three daughters, Vonya Schaufler of Mountain Home, AR, Suzanne (Patrick) McCoy of Cave Springs, AR, and Sandra (Lance) Haun of Belton, MO; godson, JN (Dana) Brown of Mountain Home, AR; and eight grandchildren, Kolton and Alexis Kincade, Kori and Dalton Schaufler, Steven and Jason Haun, and Abbi and Emily McCoy.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorials may be made to the Elk's Lodge #1714 Scholarship Fund.
