Softly and tenderly Jesus called Glen Russell Tankersly, Jr. to his Eternal home in Heaven. He passed over June 21, 2014 with his devoted wife, Marthalyn Ann Tankersley by his side.
Glen Russell Tankersley Sr., and Nadine Theresa Young Tankersley were blessed by the birth of Glen Russell Jr., August 10, 1948, in Miami, Arizona.
Glen was a life-long resident of Arizona before re-locating to this "Beautiful Arkansas" in 2010.
In addition to Marthalyn Ann, his wife of twenty-five years; Glen is survived by his very loved and loving brother Ray (Flo) Tankersley.
Glen's survivors also include step-daughter, Stephanie (Mark) LaVeer of Marana, AZ; step-daughter, Sheila (Doug) Handy of Gilbert, AZ; step-son, Scott (Vicki) Forman in Gaithersburg, MD; ten grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; half-brother, Damon (Nicole) Tankersley and half-sister, Patricia (Bill) Dodd.
Glen was preceded in death by his step-son, Steve Forman; half-sister, Sharon O'Donnell and his parents.
Memorials may be made to CMC Hospice, Mountain Home, Arkansas.
Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
