She retired from Baxter Laboratory in Mountain Home, Arkansas in 2005 after 26 years. Glenda enjoyed her vegetable garden and orchard, flowers, quilting, thrift stores, spending time with her kids, and spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Jim Stone of the home; two children, Kim (Matt) Hendershot and Jeff (Kelley) Stone; five grandchildren, Jamie Stone, Kelly Hendershot, Nick (Briley) Stone, Ashley (Jesse) Stone, and Shawn Hendershot; and two great grandchildren, Deacon Allen and Josephine Marie (due date Aug 16th); sisters, Alice (Junior) Spence and Fern Blake; brothers, Carl Cotter and Larry Cotter; sisters-in-law, Jeanne Cotter and Monteen Cotter.
