Gordon Wayne Brazzell of Gassville, Arkansas, passed away February 10, 2022, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 70. He was born June 22, 1951, in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, the son of Connie Mack and Gladys Rand Brazzell. He married Belinda JoAnn Bentley Dwyer on May 12, 1999 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He worked as a mechanic for Eaton Corporation where he retired after 37 years. He was a member of the River of Life Assembly of Gassville where he served on the Deacon Board and on the Praise and Worship Team. He enjoyed visiting with family and friends, fishing in his earlier years, walks in nature, and playing his guitar.
Gordon was known as “Flash" or "Gordo” to his friends but to David, Daniel, Cheyanne, Addy, Elly, Bentley and Sawyer he was known as “Paw-Paw Gordon.”
Gordon is survived by his son, Robert Brazzell of Gassville, Arkansas; his wife JoAnn and her three children, Dana (Donnie) Steele of Bauxite, Melissa (Fred) Merkel of Flippin, and Fred (Johnna) Dwyer of Mountain Home. He also leaves behind two nephews, Carrie and James; his cousins and numerous families; friends; and coworkers.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and daughter, Michelle Brazzell.
A Celebration of Life for Gordon will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, February 19, 2022, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Joshua Passmore officiating. Inurnment will be private in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, AR. Due to current restrictions, masks are required.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to his favorite local charities, the Food Bank of North Central Arkansas, the Salvation Army, and Care Center Ministries.
