Grace Winters Dickson

A Gathering of Friends for Grace Winters Dickson of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be from 10:00am to 12:00pm, Monday, June 8, 2015, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel
Grace passed away June 3, 2015, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 93. She was born December 20, 1921, in Niagara Falls, the daughter of Augustus and Nellie Sterling Winters. She was twice married, first to William Banks Sr. in February of 1940 in Niagara Falls and then to Wayne Dickson in 1980 in California and lived in Mountain Home since 1995. Grace enjoyed making things for other people, especially ceramics and beautifully crocheted items. Grace was also known for her wonderful singing voice.
Grace is survived by her four sons, William (Gerry Fiegel-Banks) Banks of Atlanta, GA, Ernie (Diane) Banks of Ripon, CA, Jim (Linda) Banks of Portland OR, and Darryl (Anita) Banks of Concrete, WA; two daughters, Barbara Banks of Mountain Home, AR and Jackie (Randy) Handly of Green Bay, WI; nineteen grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and 20 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands; brother, Russel Winters; two sisters, Avis Seger and Bessie Heximer; and three grandsons, Steven Banks, Martin Banks Steger, and Robby Banks.
Memorials may be made to Baxter Day Care Center.
