Grace passed away January 1, 2015, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 85. She was born August 26, 1929, in Racine, Wisconsin, the daughter of Harold and Alice Proska Nelson. She married Robert Smith on December 26, 1968 at Racine, Wisconsin and worked as a bookkeeper and hostess. She was a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church. She enjoyed meeting and greeting people, spending time with family and loved animals.
Grace is survived by her three sons, Jerome (Bernie) Pendell of Phoenix, AZ, Michael (Tori) Pendell of Riverside, CA and Thomas Pendell of Mountain Home, AR; ten grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and one sister, Virginia (Robert) Reik of Atlanta, GA.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Entombment will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Mausoleum, Mountain Home, Arkansas.
Memorials may be made to Humane Society of North Central Arkansas.
Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
