Gretchen Pope

Gretchen Pope of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away April 12, 2023, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 79. She was born January 28, 1944, in International Falls, North Dakota, the daughter of Bernard and May Bay Leik. She married Paul on January 4,1958, and was a homemaker. Gretchen lived in Mountain Home since moving from California, in 2002. She was a member of the St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church. She loved animals. Gretchen's true passion was singing Karaoke.

Gretchen is survived by her husband, Paul Pope of Mountain Home, AR; sons, Adam Pope of Mountain Home, AR, Ronald Pope of El Central, CA, Scott Pope; and sister; Marjorie MacKinnon; grand daughter, Haven Pope-Thomas; great grandson, William Pope-Thomas.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Scott and Brian Leik; and sister, Jeanie Leik.

A Graveside Funeral Service will be 10:30 am, Thursday, May 4, 2023, at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Mausoleum Open-Air Chapel, with Father Norbert Rappold officiating.
