Gwen Marie Buege

December 14, 1953 — July 13, 2014

A Funeral Service for Gwen Marie Buege of Lakeview, Arkansas, will be 11:00 am, Friday, July 18, 2014, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Mike Howell officiating. Visitation will be at 9:00 am until time of service.

Gwen passed away July 13, 2014, in Bull Shoals, at the age of 60. She was born December 14, 1953, in Las Vegas, Nevada, the son of Glenn and Marianne Massey. She married Robert Buege in 1983, and worked as a Massage Therapist for Bailey Therapeutic Massage. Gwen moved to Lakeview, AR. in late 2005 from Miami, FL. She was a member of Upper Room Assembly of God for 20 years in Miami, then became a member of First Assembly of God in Mountain Home when she moved to the area. Gwen had a love for music like no other and God blessed her with a tremendous talent to follow that love. Her band Blue Dogwood has played at many venues throughout the Ozarks. Gwen personally played at and visited many of the nursing homes in the area. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Also a second mother figure to many of her children's friends. She was the go to person if you ever needed to just talk. Gwen always knew what to say and always had God inspired advice. I know she is looking down from above putting a hedge of protection around us and putting angels before and behind us. She will be loved and missed by all that her life touched.

Gwen is survived by her husband, Robert Buege of Dayton, TN, 3 sons, Arthur (Eli) Buege of Miami, FL, Beau Buege of Gassville, AR, and Kevin Buege of Mountain Home, AR, daughter, Anne Buege of Alpena, MI, 2 grandchildren, Addesyn and Austin Buege of Gassville, AR, 3 brothers, Rory Massey of CA, Glenn Massey Jr. of CA, Rikki Massey of Las Vegas, NV, sister, Cheryl Blanchard of Las Vegas, NV.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Mausoleum, Mountain Home, AR.

Memorials may be made to First Assembly of God Mountain Home.

Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
