H. Reeves

A Memorial Service for H. Wayne Reeves of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be at a later date. He died Sunday, January 9, 2011 at Mountain Home, at the age of 93. H. Wayne was born June 12, 1917 in Clarke County, Iowa, the son of Hazel Wayne and Vinnie Power Reeves. He married Doris Enochs Fletcher on February 8, 1987 at Mountain Home, Arkansas. He worked as an Assistant Police Chief for the City of Davenport, Iowa and lived in Mountain Home, Arkansas for 38 years after retiring. He was a member of Elks #1714 and Twin Lakes Golf Club. H. Wayne is survived by his wife, Doris Reeves of Mountain Home; one son, Gary (Mary) Reeves of Pittsford, NY; one step-son, Clark (Janice) Fletcher of Mountain Home, AR; one daughter, Linda (Kenneth) Kolb of Brevard, SC; four grandchildren, Erik and Bryan Kolb, Ryan and Sara Fletcher and two sisters, Orpha (Dick) Smith of Davenport, IA, and Leona Pierschbacher of Bettendorf, IA. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife and mother of his children, Betty Schmidt Reeves, four brothers, Harold Reeves, Donald Reeves, Ronald Reeves, and Marvin Reeves and one sister, Lucille Garrett. Memorials may be made to the Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House or the Baxter Regional Medical Center Foundation. Arrangements are by Kirby & Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
