Hal Erhardt died Wednesday, May 13, 2009 in Mountain Home at the age of 62. He was born Monday, November 11, 1946 in Ellsworth, Kansas, the son of Wilbur "Bud" and Harriett Rimley Erhardt. He worked as a sheet metal fabricator for Industrial Mechanical Specialties, Inc. and was a U.S. Navy veteran of Vietnam. Hal lived in Midway since 1986 moving from Hutchinson, Kansas. He was an 18 year member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and past president 3 times. He was also a member of Float for Life with Hospice. Survivors: Hal Erhardt is survived by his fiance, Jodi Hunt of Midway, AR, son, Trinity Beau Erhardt of KS, daughter, Carrie Erhardt of IA, father Wilbur "Bud"(Jo)Erhardt of Mountain Home, AR, step-daughter, Jessica Studdard of Mountain Home, AR, 9 grandchildren, sister, Linda Davis of Maran, KS, step-brothers and sisters, Sharon Bruce of Tulsa, OK, Frank Casper of Oakland, AR, and Karon Callahan of Atlanta, GA. Preceded in Death by: He was preceded in death by his mother. Funeral: A Celebration of Life for Hal Otto Erhardt of Midway, AR, will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, May 23, 2009 at the Faternal Order of Eagles, with Mr. Charlie Ward officiating. Memorials: In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice Float for Life.
