Hallie Dale

A Funeral Service for Hallie Opal Dale of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, February 13, 2013, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 12, 2013, from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel. Hallie passed away February 8, 2013, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 90. She was born October 1, 1922, in Grand River, Iowa, the daughter of Roy and Ruth Irene Brammer Short. She married Charles Dale on April 12, 1941, at Princeton, Missouri and was a homemaker. Hallie lived in Mountain Home since 1977, moving from Leon, Iowa. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Hallie is survived by her three daughters, Judy (Ernie) Paulson of Ocsceola, IA, Linda (Dale) Johnson of Las Vegas, NV and Deborah Malcevicz of Mountain Home, AR; seven grandchildren, Stacie Lloyd, Gary Short, Chad Lloyd, Dale Short, Lance Short, Shayne Short and Dale Malcevicz and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers and two sisters. Burial will be in the New Salem Cemetery, Davis City, Iowa, with Gary, Dale, Lance and Shayne Short, Dale Malcevicz and Chad Lloyd as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Hospice of the Ozarks. Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
