Harold Blades died Saturaday, July 12, 2008 in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 83. He was born Sunday, June 28, 1925 in Parma, Missouri, son of Ira and Millie Jane Stock Blades. He married Mae Trippon October 29, 1946 at Bloomfield, Missouri. He worked as a Tool and Dye set up man for General Motors. Harold was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII. He lived in Mountain Home since October 1985, moving from Birch Run, Michigan. He was a member and Deacon of the Eastside Baptist Church. harold loved the Lord, his church and his family. Survivors: his wife; Mae Blades of Mountain Home; one son, Randy (Pat) Blades of Norfork; one daughter, Deborah (Rick) Domerese of Mountain Home; 4 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers, Thomas (Gerry Blades of St. Louis, Donald (Linda) Blades of Harrison and Al (Susan ) Blaes of San Antonio; and 2 sisters, Betty Joice (Dick) McKee of Modesto, Calif. and Earline (Roger) Wyman of San Jose, Calif. and sister-in-law Jean Blades of Cape Girardeau, MO. Preceded in Death by: He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Hurel Blades and 2 infants Billy Joe and Delmer Lee.
