Harold G. Leibinger was born May 4, 1919 at Chicago, Illinois to Gustav and Mary Schwedler Leibinger. He married Dorothy Eismueller on May 31, 1941 in Chicago and worked as a Sheet Metal Contractor. He was a WWII U.S. Navy veteran and a member of the Hovel-Barnett VFW, Lakeview Community Club and Christ by the Lake Lutheran Church. Harold loved to garden, do woodwork and fishing and was an original Boat Dock Row member. Harold Leibinger died on Friday, September 22, 2006 at the Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 87 years, 4 months and 18 days. Survivors: He is survived by his wife Dorothy Leibinger of Bull Shoals, One son Jerry Leibinger of Chicago, one daughter Jean (Keith) Halowi of Boca Raton, Fl. One grandson, Doug (Cindy) Leibinger of Columbia, Missouri and three sisters, Ena (Jim) Hellgeth of Aurora, Illinois, Laverne Chwistek of Mt, Carmel, Illinois and Virginia Hansen of Dunedin, Florida. Preceded in Death by: His parents, two sisters and two brothers. Funeral: Memorial Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 26, 2006 at the Christ By the Lake Lutheran Church with Reverend Dave Mattson officiating. Burial: Entombment will be in Kirby's Tucker Memorial Mausoleum. Memorials: Memorials may be made to the Christ by the Lake Lutheran Church.
