Haroldine "Dean" Prescott

Funeral Services for Haroldine "Dean" Dorothy Prescott formerly of Bull Shoals, AR, will be 10:00AM, Friday, March 30, 2018, at Christ by the Lake Lutheran Church in Bull Shoals, AR with Reverend Sherman Gordius officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8PM Thursday, March 29 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home in Bull Shoals, AR.

Dean passed away March 22, 2018, in Auburndale, Florida at the age of 83. She was born September 6, 1934, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Harold and Dorothy Laws Prescott. Dean worked as a Medical Technologist for South Chicago Community Hospital for 40 years. She was a member of the Musicchorale Choral Club in Chicago for 25 years. Dean moved to Bull Shoals, AR after retirement in 2002. She was a member of Christ By The Lake Lutheran Church, where she was a member of the choir. Dean served as the secretary of the Bull Shoals Lions Club for three years and was a volunteer at the Bull Shoals Theater of the Arts. Dean lived in Winter Haven, FL since 2016.

Dean is survived by her sister, Ann (Dave) Manley of Winter Haven, FL; brother, Harold Prescott of Lockport, IL and her beloved niece and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.

Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, AR, with Dave Manley, Harold Prescott, Dave Hotchkiss and Nick Lascaro as pallbearers.

Memorials may be made to Shriner's Hospital for Children, Good Shepherd Hospice or George Forsythe Hospice House in Auburndale, Fl.
