A Memorial Service for Harriet Herlien of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 3:00 pm, Saturday, January 16, 2016, at Promise Land Bible Church, with Pastor Mike Brinkmeier officiating.
Harriet passed away January 10, 2016, in Gassville, Arkansas at the age of 96. She was born November 6, 1919, in The Netherlands, the daughter of John and Mary Sloot Haveman. She married Siebert Herlien on June 27, 1941 at Chicago, Illinois and was a homemaker. Harriet lived in Mountain Home since 1997, moving from Berwyn, Illinois. She was a member of the Promise Land Bible Church and enjoyed volunteering at churches and nursing homes.
Harriet is survived by her four children, Renee (Harold) Langeland of La Grange, IL, John (Sherli) Herlien of Gassville, AR, Maryan (James) Pritchett of Plainfield, IL and Charles (Pamela) Herlien of Yellville, AR; one brother, John (Lynn) Haveman of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband and two sisters, Jean and Margaret.
Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army.
