Services for Hazel Matson, 102, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be private. Hazel passed away November 29, 2012, in Mountain Home, Arkansas. She was born April 20, 1910, in Glenwood, Illinois, the daughter of Rudolph and Hannah Johnson Matson. She worked as a secretary for Inland Steel. Hazel lived in Mountain Home, since 1980 moving from Glenwood, Illinois. Hazel is survived by her niece, Geraldine Grandmaison of Mountain Home, AR; nephew, William Baur of Sun City West, AZ; great-niece, Vicki Schirmer of Engelwood, FL; great-nephew, William Kaszubski of Steger, IL and several great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and one sister. Burial will be in the Homewood Memorial Cemetery, Homewood, Illinois. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of North Central Arkansas. Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
