Hazel R."Aunt Dink" Strain died Sunday, November 9, 2008 in Mountain Home at the age of 75. She was born Sunday, May 7, 1933 in Calico Rock, Arkansas, the daughter of John and Betsie Harris Jones. She married Rudolph Strain on August 16, 1954 at Calico Rock, Arkansas and was a homemaker. Hazel lived was a lifetime resident of the Mountain Home area and loved to fish. Survivors: Hazel Strain is survived by her daughter, Hazel Elaine Bennell of Bull Shoals, AR, son, Harold Lindsey Strain of Clarkridge, AR, and special nephew, Harley Brown. Preceded in Death by: She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 brothers and 1 sister. Visitation: Visitation will be from 5-8 P.M., Wednesday, November 12 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral: Funeral services for Hazel Rudene Strain of Mountain Home, AR, will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, November 13, 2008 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Vince Daniels officiating. Burial: Burial will be in the Conley Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas Honorary Bearers: Harley Brown, Dale Davis, Dalton Davis as honorary pallbearers. Active Bearers: Jerry Brown, Jim Shaw, Lonnie Bray, Kip Kanatzar, Eddie Fawcett and Donnie Fawcett as pallbearers.
