Funeral Services for Helen A. Sparks of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, March 16, 2013, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Deacon Richard Linstad officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, March 16, 2013, from 12:00 pm until service time at Kirby & Family Funeral Home. Helen passed away at her home March 8, 2013, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 94. She was born April 3, 1918, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to Stanley and Agnes Rybarczek Kafaro. She married Jack Sparks December 17, 1987 at Mountain Home, AR and worked as an office clerk for Sears-Roebuck. Helen lived in Mountain Home since 1970, moving from Clarendon Hills, IL. She was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church. Helen is survived by her brother, William (Janet) Kafaro of Chicago, IL; nieces and nephews, Julie Broyles of Mountain Home, AR, Barbara Helen of Madison, WI, Susanne Jimenez, Kathy McCormick, Steven Kafaro and Paul Kafaro all of Chicago, IL, and several great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1st husband Paul Mikels, her 2nd husband, three brothers and her sister. Burial will be in Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery with Paul Kafaro, P.J. Kafaro, Jason McCormick, Daniel Harbin, Steven Kafaro and Michael Kafaro as pallbearers. Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
