Henrietta Cravens, 79, passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, in Norfork, Arkansas. Henrietta was born on December 2, 1943, in Meridian, Mississippi, to Tebie and Evie Wilkerson Smith. She married Carl Cravens on January 28, 1975 in Vicksburg, Mississippi, and moved to Arkansas in 1980. She and Carl owned and operated Mountain Home Transmission from 1980-1996. She enjoyed sewing, crafting, quilting, gardening, antiquing and especially loved spending time with her family and all of her grandchildren.
Henrietta is survived by son, Wayne (Donna) Ellis; daughter, Jeannie (David) McDonald; 11 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; brother, David Smith; and four sisters, Kate Warren, Evie Mae Killen, Mildred Ponder, and Reba Fay "Candy Man" Crocker.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carl L. Cravens; two sons, Tommy and James Ellis; granddaughter, Tiffany Ellis; brother, Willy Smith; and three sisters, Virginia Galloway, Irma Ruth Graham, and Lucille Brewer.
Visitation will be Friday, May 19, 2023, from 5:30 pm until 8:00 pm, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2023, at 10:00 am at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend James Pool officiating. Burial will be in Galatia Cemetery, in Norfork, Arkansas, with Michael Packard, Jason Acklin, Mark McGowan, Jake McGowan, Dakota Cox, and Dalton Cox as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Jackson Evans and Luke McGowan.
