Henry Petersen

Graveside services for Henry A. Petersen of Gassville, Arkansas, will be private. Henry passed away September 22, 2012, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 67. He was born April 12, 1945, in Chicago, Illinois the son of Carlo and Cressie Crowell Petersen. He worked for the Baxter County Day Service. Henry lived in Mountain Home and Gassville, Arkansas since 1969, moving from Villa Park, Illinois. He enjoyed music, singing and loved the Chicago Cubs. He loved, and was loved by, the caring staff at Gassville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Henry is survived by his three nephews, Joseph (DeAnn) Wegwert of Flagstaff, AZ, Paul (Selma) Wegwert of Virginia Beach, VA, and Thomas (Kathy) Wegwert of Naples, FL, and one niece, Kathy (Robert) Gustafson of McHenry, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Joseph Wegwert. Burial will be in the Mountain Home Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Gassville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Gassville, Arkansas. Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
