Herbert Frank Deitz, Jr. of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away March 15, 2021, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 92. He was born April 4, 1928, in Andover, New Jersey, the son of Herbert and Etta Heuse Deitz. Herbert was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He married Audrey Niles on February 11, 1984, in Paramus, New Jersey and was a Marble Setter for Marble Local 7 for 41 years. Herbert lived in Mountain Home since moving from Paramus, New Jersey, in 1997. He was a member of the Mountain Home Bible Church. He enjoyed woodworking and fishing. He loved making things for his family. Most of all, he loved his family and his church.
Herbert is survived by his wife, Audrey Deitz of Mountain Home, AR, many children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be Friday, March 19, 2021, from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm, at Mountain Home Bible Church. A Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 pm, Friday, March 19, 2021, at the Mountain Home Bible Church, with Pastor Mike Bennett officiating. Due to current restrictions, masks are required.
