Herbert died Tuesday, September 27, 2011, at Baxter Regional Medical Center. He was born January 10, 1948 in Elwood, Indiana, the son of Chester and Laura Ball Lockridge. He married Anna Covington on September 26, 1986 at Anderson, Indiana and worked as a semi driver. Herbert Lockridge was a U.S. Army veteran of Vietnam 1967-1968. Hebert lived in Oakland, Arkansas since 1990 moving from Anderson, Indiana. He was a member of Hoevel-Barnett V.F.W. Post #1341, Bull Shoals and Eagles Lodge #3183 FOE, Mountain Home. He was on the Bingo Committee at the Eagles Lodge and a member of the Oakland-Promiseland Fire Department.
Herbert is survived by 6 sons, Larry Odgen of LA, Corey Allen Lockridge, Kenneth Lockridge, Jerry Lee Lockridge, Michael Wayne Lockridge and Robert Shane Hacker all of IN; 4 daughters, Peggy Ann Lockridge, Michelle Lee Cooper both of IN, Casie Lynn Yoe of NV and Sherry Ann Minter of IA; 2 brothers, Stephen Gardner of Oakland, AR and Frank Nayler of IN.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
