Herbert Pilger

Herbert E. Pilger was born December 25, 1917 in Kansas. He was the son of Gruille and Lucy Petrie Pilger. He was a member of the 101st Airborne and fought in the Battle of the Bulge. He married Audrey Willige. He was employed as maintenance supervisor for Stockton, California Airport. He moved to Norfork, Arkansas in 2005, from Turlock, California. Herbert E. Pilger passed away at Care Manor, March 26, 2006, at the age of 88 years, 3 months and 1 day. Survivors: Wife, Audrey Pilger, of Mountain Home, Arkansas; two sons, Robert Pilger, of Norfork, Arkansas and Bill Pilger, of Turlock, California; two daughters, Carla (Raymond) Mensonides of Turlock, California and Mary (Dick) Robinson, of Oakland, California; eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren Preceded in Death by: His parents, three sisters and one brother Funeral: Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 P.M.
