Herman L. Dotson was born May 23, 1924, in Clearwater, Mississippi. He was the son of Grover Cleveland and Evla Manley Dotson. He married Edith Hill, March 18, 1995, in Flippin, Arkansas. Mr. Dotson served with the United States Army during World War II. He was employed as a machinist for thirty years with Engine Rebuilders. He enjoyed working on cars, gardening and fishing and was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses. Herman L. Dotson passed away January 4, 2006, at the age of 81 years, 7 months and 11 days. Survivors: Wife of eleven years, Mrs. Edith Dotson of Flippin, Arkansas; three daughters, Daisy Louise (Lonnie) Pearson of Cabot, Arkansas, Evla Vantine Dotson of Greenwood, Arkansas, and Sally (Richard) King of Londke, Arkansas; two sons, Herman (Phylis) Evert Dotson, Jr., of Greenville, Arkansas and Vernon Cleveland Dotson of Houston, Texas; three step-daughters, Ethel (Robert) Reeves of Hood River, Oregon, Linda (Gene) Barnett of Montgomery, Texas, and Carolyn (Jim) Looney of Montgomery, Alabama; six step-sons, Lonny (Nancy) Reeves of Lead Hill, Arkansas, Ted Reeves of Flippin, Arkansas, Virgil (Lisa) Reeves of Pyeatt, Arkansas, Jay Reeves of Bloomington, Indiana, Jim (Wanda) Reeves of Dixon, Missouri and B.J. (Angela) Reeves of Dardanelle, Arkansas; brother, Calvin Dotson of Greenville, Missouri and G.C.
