A Memorial Service for Hermann Otto Szonn of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 11:00 A.M., Thursday, August 1, 2013, at Kirby and Family Funeral Home, with Pastor David Gadbaw officiating. A gathering of friends will be from 10:00 A.M. until service time.
Hermann passed away July 28, 2013, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 83. He was born July 27, 1930, in Wesel, Germany, the son of Otto and Gertrude Szonn. He married Sonja Haas on, December 27, 1957, in Germany and worked as a Ford Service Manager. Hermann was a U.S. Army Veteran. Hermann lived in Mountain Home since 1996, moving from Liberyville, Illinois. He enjoyed golfing.
Hermann is survived by his wife, Sonja Szonn of Mountain Home, AR; daughter, Audrey Glickman of Henderson, NV and cousin, Margitta (Ken) Collins of Mountain Home, AR.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
