Homer Reece

Jack Reece was born October 20, 1923 at Liberty, Georgia to Andrew Patrick and Minnie Hooper Reece. He retired from Sierra Motors in Ottawa, Illinois where he was a mechanic for 30 years. He was a WWII Air Force Veteran and a Baptist. He lived in Lakeview since moving from Anderson South Carolina in 1981. He passed away on July 4, 2006 at Care Manor Nursing Home in Moutnain Home, Arkansas at the age of 82 years, 8 months and 14 days. Survivors: Two sons; John D. (Barbara) Reece of Midway, Ronald L. Reece of Long Beach, California. Two daughters Susan (Terry) Lindenmeyer of Midway, Arkansas and Diane Zera of Spring Valley, Illinois, Seven Grandchildren and eight great grandchildren, his former wife Joan Ward of Mountain Home and one Brother Claude Reece of Anderson, South Carolina. Preceded in Death by: By his parents and one brother Milton Reece. Visitation: Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time Funeral: 2:00 P.M. Saturday, July 8, 2006 in Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jerry Backus officiating. Burial: Viola Cemetery in Viola, Arkansas. Memorials: Sparks-Gamma House in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
