Horace Daniel Gentry, Jr. of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away March 6, 2024, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 90. He was born July 5, 1933, in Rome, Mississippi, the son of Horace and Emma Weldon Gentry. He married Carol Fender on June 16, 1994 in Springfield South Dakota. He worked as a Plant Manager for Reynolds Aluminum. Horace was a U.S. veteran of the Army serving in the Korean War. Horace lived in Mountain Home since moving from Oklahoma, in 2000. He enjoyed fishing, camping playing golf and flipping houses.

Horace is survived by his wife, Carol Gentry of Mountain Home, Arkansas and a large loving family.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 16, 2024 at 1:00 until the time of service at 2:00 at the United Church of Christ Congregational in Springfield, South Dakota. Burial will be in the Bon Homme Cemetery, in Springfield, South Dakota.
