Howard L. Nichols passed away Tuesday, the last day of May, 2016. Born in Ellicottville, New York, on October 20, 1916. Howard passed just four months before his 100th birthday.
Howard is survived locally by his daughter, Linda A. Westmoreland of Mountain Home, AR and his son, Tim Nichols, residents of Mountain Home. Howard was a machinist and tool and die maker by trade and rose to the position of VIce President of his company. His ashes will be buried along with those of his wife near the forests he loved. He will be missed.
