Hugh L. Triplett Jr. was born January 5, 1926 in St. Louis, Missouri. He was the son of Hugh and Nona Norton Triplett. He married the "late" Genevieve Pawlak Triplett on November 30, 1973 in Chicago, Illinois. Hugh Triplett was a retired production line supervisor with General Electric and has lived in Mountain Home, Arkansas since 1988 having moved here from Berwyn, Illinois. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus #7353, Mountain Home Lions Club, Moose Lodge #1953, Arkansas Bowler's Association Hall of Fame, Legion of Mary and Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration. Hugh loved "his kids" at the Baxter Day Center and worked many years with mentally and physically challenged residents of the Center. Hugh was a member of St. Peter the Fishman Catholic Church where he served as an usher for many years. Hugh L. Triplett passed away at his residence on May 27, 2005 at the age of 79 years, 4 months and 22 days. Triplett, Jr. of Mountain Home will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 31, 2005 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church with Rev. Jim Fanrak as celebrant.
