Ian Nathaniel Lapio

Ian Nathaniel Lapio, a beloved husband, father, son, and brother, passed away on January 20, 2025, at the age of 32 in Gassville, Arkansas. Born on February 5, 1992, in Searcy, Arkansas, he was the son of Ronnell Roegner and Amy Tallent DeJesus.


Ian was a beautiful soul who brought joy to everyone who knew him. He attended school in both Salem and Highland, where he built lifelong friendships and found the love of his life. On November 19, 2017, Ian married Libby. Together, they embarked on a journey of love and laughter, moving to Gassville just a year later to create a home filled with warmth and happiness.


Cherished husband, loyal best friend, and adored father, Ian was an avid enthusiast of RC cars, he was a man with many hobbies and talents, he enjoyed hard work and improving the lives of those around him. Ian was happiest when spending time with his family and friends, his fun-loving nature and infectious personality made those around him enjoy life. Yet, his greatest pride and joy came from being a fantastic father to his beloved son, Linkian James Lapio. Ian’s love for his family was boundless, he poured his heart and soul into every moment spent with them, and he was loved unconditionally by his wife and son.


Ian is survived by his wife, Libby Jo Lapio of Gassville, AR; his father, Ronnell (Lesley) Roegner; his mother, Amy (Daniel) DeJesus; his precious son, Linkian James Lapio; and five siblings who will forever cherish his memory: Alia Lapio, Dayln Roegner, Luca Roegner, Calin Roegner, and Jocelyn Agado.


Family and friends are invited to celebrate Ian’s life, with Visitation on Monday, January 27, 2025 from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Kirby & Family Funeral Home.
