Memorial services for Ilene Maude Baker, 86 of Mountain Home, AR, will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, October 10, 2009 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Max Pyron officiating.
Ilene died Tuesday, October 6, 2009 in Mountain Home. She was born Friday, April 27, 1923 in Janesville, Iowa, daughter of George and Mabel Patee Perkins. She married James Baker on January 12, 1958 at Midway, Georgia and was a homemaker. Ilene lived in Mountain Home since 1992 moving from Borger, Texas. She like to travel, sew and loved jigsaw puzzles. She was a member of the Home Extension.
Ilene is survived by her husband, James M. Baker, daughter, Kay (Clint) Edwards of Mountain Home, AR, 3 grandchildren, Donald, John and Dennis Parker and 8 great-grandchildren, Jacey, Meagan, David, Daniel, Deanna, Bethany, Calvin and Brandon Parker.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Floyd Perkins.
Entombment will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Mausoleum.
Memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children's Hospital.
