Funeral services for Emogene Copeland, 91, of Cotter, Arkansas will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, September 28, 2009 at Irby Funeral Home Chapel, Piggott, Arkansas with Reverend Mark Book officiating.
Emogene was born June 18, 1918 at Clay County, Arkansas the daughter of Thomas A. and Ellie Miranda Hill Moore. She married Wilson O. Copeland September 12, 1936 at Kennett, Missouri and was a homemaker.
She is survived by her 2 sons, Shirrel E. (Shirley) Copeland and Edward F. Copeland both of Cotter, AR. 2 daughters, Phyllis (Ray) Brightwell of Winfield, MO and Pansy (Glen) Dimick of Cotter, AR and sister Harriet Ward.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 brother and 1 sister.
Burial will be in the Mitchell Cemetery, Greenway, Arkansas with Mike Hill, Charlie Cato, Newton Wells, Carl Lovelady, Houston Fry and Keith Dowdy as pallbearers.
Arrangements are by Kirby & Family Funeral Home and Irby Funeral Home.
